Your Own Web Entry
Your own page on the website will be seen by thousands of young people all over the world searching for jobs and you are likely to be amazed by the response. The standard of applicant is generally exceptionally high.
You have complete control over the administration of your advertising from your Account page at PickingJobs. As soon as you have created an Account (follow the step by step instructions) you can compose an advertisement and put it on the website. You can change the content as much as you like and extend the period of view as often as you like. You can even have several advertisements running at the same time and control all of them from your Account page. Each advertisement is charged separately as per the scale of charges below.
How do I pay?
Payment is via credit card on secure servers - there is no risk.
How do job-seekers contact me?
Job-seekers contact employers direct by email.
For your protection your contact email address appears on the site in a form that prevents spammers from dynamically obtaining your details.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Click on the Advertise Here button on the right under How to Advertise.
Step 2: On the ‘Create New Account’ page insert the email address that will be used to receive job applications.
The address entered here will be programmed to appear on the site as an image. This address doubles as your ‘username’ for logging on to the site in future.
Step 3: Insert a password of your choosing and click ‘Create’.
Step 4: On your Account page you can now compose your job advertisement(s). Click ‘Create Job’.
Step 5: In the ‘title’ box insert the title of your advertisement as you wish it to appear in the initial search results. (Suggestion: your business name and the area of the country you are in - followed by the job title of the position you wish to advertise.)
In the large text box the headings are only a guide to help you describe the job. Feel free to delete them and insert your own, or 'copy and paste' text from your word processing program.
You will have the opportunity to make changes to all of this later on.
NB: it is essential that you select location, duration and job type as this data generates the search results.
(To select multiple durations: press ‘Ctrl’ on your keyboard and click on the relevant months.)
Step 6: Click Save Changes.
Step 7: You can now view how the job will display by clicking "View".
Step 8: Hit the browser back button.
Step 9: You can edit the job by clicking "Edit". Remember to save your changes.
Step 10: Repeat the steps above until you are happy with your advert.
Step 11: Ready to make payment - ensure you are on your Account page.
Step 12: Under the paid heading, if no payment has been made, this will be set to "no". To make payment, click on the "no" - this will take you to the credit card payment pages.
Step 13: Choose from the drop down box the length of time you would like to advertise & press pay.
Step 14: You will be taken to the NetBanx secure page. Check the amount is correct and insert your credit or debit card details. Once you have completed payment, the website will automatically update with your entry.
How do I change my entry?
You can access your Account via the login box on the left using the email address and password you chose on application. Whether new positions become available or all vacancies have been filled, simply go online and make any changes. You also have the opportunity to change your username (email address) and password.
What it costs
Payment can be made in any currency. Prices are quoted here in Pounds Sterling. When you pay your card provider dynamically converts the amount to Pounds and it will appear on your card statement in your own currency. For an approximate cost please use the currency converter below.

6 weeks - 120 GB Pounds
